I am currently having an issue with my VDJ 7.04 software temporary stalling (5-15 secs) when i browse through folders and attempt to load a song to a deck. This problem gets 10 times worse when i hook up my DN-MC6000 which prevents me from using it. Without the controller i notice that my CPU is regularly 2-6% however once i start browsing or try to load a song it raises to 20% or greater and then will freeze temporarily. The sound will still continue to come out the speakers however the software will become unresponsive for this time. I open my Windows task manager and see under processes that VDJ is running at 159,000k which seems a bit off as every other program is in the 1000-10000k range.
Its only purpose is DJ'n so it contains no other major software except VDJ 7. Having noticed the problem i have disabled all unnecessary start up programs and programs running in the back ground, have set my power options to high performance, and still found i am having the problem. I've read a few forums and saw people made suggestions on things to do to try fixing the issue however after trying nearly all of them i am still having these problems. I was wondering is there anything within VDJ 7 configure or a solution/suggestion on what i can do to resolve this annoying issue.
Cheers

Tried it and i am definitely seeing a reduction with the amount of freezing. it happens alot less often. maybe once or twice now compared to every single song.
I read in another forum that someone enhanced their virtual dj performance by going into windows task manager and under virtual dj in the processes section they set it to a higher priority. Would you recommend this?
Thanks.
