hi guys, thinking of outlaying the money for the NS6.

just wanted to know your opinions on it so hit me with the good the bad an the ugly truth about it!! :)

I bought the NS7 due to it's all-n-1 easy/quick setup, the V7's for the ability to seemless DJ changeovers and just pre ordered the NS6 this morning. The previously mentioned I haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. As a 27 year "vinylist" the build quality is rock solid. Performance is top notch. Here in Japan I have even had the most hardcore vinyl lovers compliment the setup/audio quality and control. For my money, I would have to say it was money well spent.
 
I cannot really think of anything against the NS6. I love mine. I was in the same toss up between the Denon and NS6 and I decided to shell out the extra cash. I am not sorry and I don't think you will be either.

The mapping for the NS6 is very good now and they have done a very good job on it. Its a little larger than the MC6000 but I actually like the size of it. The only downfall is you have to use one of the channels to use the MIC. This does not really bother me since I use my external soundboard for mic anyway. If I need something small I will use my Hercules RMX, but the NS6 is perfect to me. The Jogs are wonderful, heavy duty and feel very good, BUT I did not come from vinyl and motorized platters so each person is somewhat different.

Bottom line I think the extra cash is worth it for the NS6!
 
yeah i thought about the NS7 but it seemed to big an chunky, plus i like the 4channel stand alone mixer option with the NS6!! now to just wait till august for it to be released in AUS!! :(

The only (main) reason i kant & wont buy the NS6 over my current NS7 is spinning platters. ive DJ so long with TT & then onto Denon dn-s3500's & now NS7 i just love that spinning palter effect
