hey
i just bought the idj3 and installed the virtual dj that it comes with and all that..
so i have it plugged into my laptop.. but i dont have speakers right now..
ive been trying to see if i can still use it and hear the music threw my headphones .. if they are plugged into the white or red plugin in the back .. or is there some way to set it up so i can mess around with this while i dont have my speakers ?

LE versions are designed to use the built in sound card of the controllers. So in case you dont have speakers , and need to use the built in speakers of your computer, you need to connect the sound output of the controller with the line/mic input of your computer, using a proper cable (double RCA to mini jack).
Make also sure that the mic/line input of your computer is not muted.
Headphpones must connected to controller's headphones input.

I mean really though, you can't run to Wal-Mart of the Goodwill and pick up a cheap pair of speakers for like 10/15 bucks??

Hey,
I just got a IDJ3 Controller which came with Virtual DJ LE...I installed the drivers and the software and connected everything. However, I'm not hearing anything through my headphones. Music plays fine through the speaks and everything but I'm not able to hear anything through the head phones when I'm not trying to cue, nothing at all. Can some help me with configuring the head set devise. I only hear sound when I change the cue sound from a/b to master but I'm still unable to cue or listen to cue a or b. Just the same music that's playing out. Please Help.

i just recently bought a idj3 off craigslist from a nice guy. he saved the disc and kept the table in good shape. only thing is, when I went to download the software I got to the point where the program installed and I need like a license code to keep the program, Only thing is I don't have one..? I don't know what to do because the code was on the back off the cd envelope and the guy have me the cd in a clear case (No original paper envelope).. Please help, I want to start learning ASAP :)

You could always contact Numark to see if they will give you a complimentary serial.
If not, you willneed to purchase VirtualDJ Pro Full to use the controller.
