Hello everyone,
I'm currently using two external harddrives plus an itunes library to house my music collection when I gig. I read somewhere that using Itunes is the best way to go to house and access your collection since Itunes is compataible with VDJP and many other D.J. software on the market. I'm familar with Itunes and creating playlist and sorts however I've been creating folders/crates to group my tracks. I've stayed away from dumping my whole library into itunes due to what I saw as Apple's proprietary enforced limits on music use and my concerns about sound quality-but I could be missing something here. I've used itunes to buy a good number of tunes that sounded good to shabby. So I'm polling my fellow D.J's to get your opinions, pros, and cons, on relying soely on Itunes when I gig.
Thanks,
Que Yi
