i'm amazed to say that i'm going to Jimmy Buffett today

believe it or not this old hippy never been b4 ........

also 4th of July Yes and Styx !!

both concerts @ the Susquehanna Bank Centre , which everyone continues to

call the Tweeter .... it's in delightful Camden on the waterfront .....

which reminds me .... that means i'll see the fireworks from Penn's Landing while

i'm at the concert on the 4th !!

they say people actually follow him up the east coast from florida in there boats
 
WOW that was amazing .....

the winner of the "there may still be hope for us yet" award goes to the crowd .....

25000 mostly well behaved , no fights that i saw .....

not every day you see 25000 singing the same song in unison ........and half of 'em are wearing

parrots on there heads ........

before getting misty eyed about the feel good sing alongs , i should point out that one of those

songs was called "let's get drunk and screw" ..........not the loftiest sentiment
 
Glad You had a good time. Hopefully he makes it my way this year

there were a LOT of burst out laughing moments

and the crowd loved him he did i think it was 3 encores ....and they still

called him out again and he did a final song just him and a 6 string acoustic


he just owns his crowd like nothing i've ever seen b4

the sound was excellent too
 
Styx and Yes were great

it wasn't sold out , which i kinda expected

Styx ....Grand Illusion .....all cuts from that album including title track were great,and

in general very good

the sound was better than Yes's ....but still couldn't hear drums well enough


Yes ......new lead singer is great , he's much younger and more powerful voice than

Jon Anderson....his name is David Benoit , he's Canadian.....Canada has lotsa great singers and 30% of the

world's water , so you should be nice to them .....

as usual with Yes it took 'em a good 2 or 3 songs to get the sound sorted and it still was rough

at times ..... never seemed to get the keyboards 100% .....

although i have to say that with Yes yer talking about a lotta stuff goin' on up there .....

i think it's amazing how intricate some of the stuff is that they can do live ........
