Huey, did you get passive or active?

Just when I thought I was good to go, lol! Ok so your saying the 15's can't run parallel with the 18's but the 12's can?? If so what else do I need in detail please, lmao! I'm a slow learner, lol!

Thanks for the input
Huey

@ Rob, they have the amp built in. Is that going to make a difference??

If all the speakers have amps built in then you should be good to go. Right and left XLR from your mixer to the right and left tops and then XLR from the tops to the subs.

I am not too familliar with active speakers but it seems as simple as that.

Cool, that's what I thought but ill ask the guys at the store to be for sure.

Thanks for the input
Huey

With powered cabs it's usually from mixer to subs first, then from subs to tops - because the subs will have a high pass output that feeds the tops with just the freqs that the sub doesn't handle. RTFM!

If the cabs are all from the same range then they should have been designed to work together nicely, so you shouldn't need to do any/much juggling with levels to balance bass with mid/top - just set them all the same.

Ok, but what's "RTFM"?? I don't usually do sound, I don't do mobile but the masses are asking and I like money so.......ima get paid, lol!!
