Topic: Crackling and pops in 4 deck mode

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello everyone, I'm here today with a problem I'm running into when I'm using 4deck mode with dj4set. My setup is a set of logitech speakers with a 10" woofer connected to the dj4set by the aux cables; The 4set is connected to a aus eepc netbook with an external cdr/dvdr drive and 1gb ram. So I assume it's not the computers fault; I searched for a topic about this problem and I found the IRQ solution to poping and crackling but it said computers have 16 irqs. Mine had irqs ranging from 0-180 It said to change any soundcard irq that was conflicting to an open channel. I really couldn't differ the sound cards from the others? Would buying more ram fix this? I have 1gb currently and when it 2 deck mode the cpu bar ranges from 50%-75% full while playing/loading tracks; while four deck mode its always 80%-100% full if im loading a new track especially. Please give me some imput on this problem, what have you guys done to fix the crackling?
