What do you mean you cant access that file? Once you link them, you need to locate the file in the browser, rightclick Remove video linked.

In case you dont need the linked videos feature, you may disable that on Config->Video tab... Link Video when dropped on preview

Tip. If you have several files with the same name, and you re not sure which one is loaded, sort the search results by Loaded field. If this field is not showing on browser, rightclick on Browser headers and select Loaded field.

I know exactly what your talking about. I've had the same issue. But it only happens to Videos (mp4's) that I've Ripped from Youtube. All my other Videos are ok. I've learned just to not Link Videos to these files. But it is an Issue. They way you make Virtual dJ "SEE" the file again, is go to it through windows, and RENAME IT. Then Virtual DJ will See it again. Good Luck.

I have also seen that issue with promo only mp4 videos, and also resolved it by renaming the original file, and rescanning the folder where that video lives. There is probably a better solution, such as manually editting the database xml file, but I didn't bother looking into it much myself, and just disabled the 'linked video' feature so that it didn't accidentally happen again.
