I recently got a Numark Mixdeck 3 weeks ago, I usually run it through my desktop which runs XP. On XP I can usually configure the soundcard to work straight through the mixdeck.
On my laptop, however, I have to run the sound through ASIO on ultra-latency. Usually 10-30 mins into mixing the software freezes. It seems like some kind of driver/firmware mulfunction. The laptop runs on Windows 7. This is starting to become a serious problem as I'm starting to mobile DJ and this laptop is a lot more portible.. than a desktop computer lol

Don't use ultra latency - This may cause problems with sound cards and/or computers that are not able to support it.
Please also check that your computer does not have any performance issues - See http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4094/Common_performance_issues_and_solutions.html

I tried that also. I even created a sperate partition... I've look in many other forums about the Mixdeck. It seems the pattern is that the Mixdeck's firmware/drivers have bugs with 64-bit systems. I haven't had any problems on my 32-bit XP.
