I run VDJ 7 with a Hercules RMX. I've noticed that anytime I load a song, the gain increases on it's own in the deck that I'm loading. All the updates for VDJ and the RMX are current. This happens with both the 2 deck and 4 deck skin.
Anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

When you load a song for the first time, VirtualDJ must analyse it for the correct gain (Volume), BPM, song key, etc. As the loading progresses, the gain may raise or lower appropriately as analysis progresses.
If you start a song playing before it has been analysed in full, then the volume may increase or drop once loading has completed and the correct overall gain has been determined.
To avoid this, please allow unanalysed songs to load in full before playing them.

Thank you, but this is not the case. The songs being loaded have been analyzed previously and I do not start a song prior to being analyzed fully.

If you find that the position of the gain knob changes each time you load a different song then this is normal. VirtualDJ has previously analysed the song to find the optional setting and the knob will move to this position accordingly. It will be different for each song, depending on how much gain needs to be added or removed.
Under normal circumstances, you should not need to manually adjust the gain. The automatically determined setting should be optimal in most cases. If not, adjust the gain manually yourself and it will be remembered for the next time that you load the song (Providing that CONFIG -> Options -> Auto Gain is set to the default of Auto + Remember)
If you find the gain knob is gradually moving upwards by itself, then the gain knob on the RMX may be faulty.
