Make sure you download the correct file (msi is for windows , pkg is for MACs.) I noticed that you downloaded both of them twice. Does the installation files downloads completely ? What is the filesize you receive? Choose to save the installation file and check filesize.

Does it work now?

If not, please deinstall/delete "ALL" VDJ versions from your computer
Download and install only the version from your download center again.
http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Install VDJ as a user with admin rights.
Open VDJ as the same user, still with admin rights.
