Topic: Multiple Deck audio question.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm using the Creative X-fi 5.1 sound card with my laptop. When I use a 4 deck skin, I get the normal audio from decks 1 & 2 but nothing from decks 3 & 4 which I expected to be piggy-backed with the 1 & 2 outputs. Am I missing a setting or do I have the wrong expectations?

I think you'll have to go into the advanced config and route all your decks aswell as your headphones. Not 100% but pretty sure that's what you'll have to do.

That did it! Thank you!

Found something interesting, though. Decks 3 & 4 do not show videos. Didn't see anything in configurations to change that.

There are tiny buttons (in square) above the video crossfader to toggle the video display between 1&3 on left and 2&4 on right.
 
leftvideo : assign this deck to the left of the video crossfader: "deck 3 leftvideo" or "leftvideo +1" or "leftvideo 'auto'".
rightvideo : assign this deck to the right of the video crossfader: "deck 3 rightvideo" or "rightvideo +1" or "rightvideo 'auto'".
overvideo : force this deck's video output on the video master
leftvideo_button : simple button to control the left video source: "deck 3 leftvideo_button".
rightvideo_button : simple button to control the right video source: "deck 3 rightvideo_button".
