Thought we could do something fun. Name two of your favorite songs that you ALWAYS play at a gig no matter what.

For me my two songs are:

-First time by Offer Nissim
-Something's Gotta Give by Thomas Gold (Chris Ortega Mix)

i actually like "Black & Yellow" i mean for something new that's pop......


i was watching the video when i got it cuz , i was curious , was this some gang thang , in which case

i wouldn't play it .....i'm looking at it saying are all those places in Pittsburgh? then i noticed a Roebling bridge

(which is not found on a Stratocaster) so i figured it IS about Pittsburgh ....

so Dan one of the strip club mgrs , says yeah that's all Pittsburgh , i used to live there ....

i said that bridge is a Roebling ....he says what's a Roebling ? the Brooklyn Bridge is a Roebling.......

so we googled it and sure enough .......i didn't know b4 that there was a Roebling in Pittsburgh


so.....now you know more than you ever wanted to know about 1 song , 2 bridges , Pittsburgh

and 1 super genius named Roebling .....


i liked Marcel's 2 songs ......

perfect for the cocktail hour ......



i think for me i do have certain tunes i pick on a lot ....

but hopefully i don't have 2 that i always play.....


there are 5 trillion songs out there

for 4 hours you need about 60 to 68 good ones .......


you wimps should have more confidence ......

those 2 songs ?? whatever they are .....that's your security blanket .....

look.... 2 songs no matter how good are NOT making you good.......YOU are making you

good in a bunch of ways ......

use the music group suggestions in conjunction with the Netsearch and you will be adding lotsa cool stuff

to your arsenal ......

a coupla things referring back to my previous post


i did in the past think that i needed 1 or 2 or 3 magic bullet songs .......


but there are no magic bullets that apply to every situation .....

Coach listed it takes 2 rob base ....that's real good , i really like ...

without searching my database i'm gonna say i think i have the video for that ......

it's great , i just wouldn't play it every time out ......

but i only liked it the first 50,000 times i played/heard it...........

same with Cupid ......

i just think you have to be careful with these things they get old fast


you can't be different and play what the other guys always play ......


I have many folders in windows , i have many dozens of virtual folders ,

i have favorite folders , i have filter folders

what i don't have is playlists ....

to me feels too much like cut and paste , a little too pre-fab ......


and what's a Stratocaster ? ..... it's the upper level of the atmosphere .....
