Me and my partner both use the NS7 for our small gigs. i've noticed a few small problems, first off, when i plug my NS7 and load VDJ, i set the Ns7 to ASIO; after the first 10 min, the NS7 will lose connection, causing me to exit out of vdj, wait for the USB light to come back on the NS7, and then start over. after the first restart i can play for the whole gig. (this doesnt happen with serato itch, with serato i'm constantly connected)
Also i feel like theres an issue with the sound volume on my NS7. On the vdj bars (the animated bar waves in between the volume slides just above the cross fader) it shows its high when a song is played at 0 DB. (like the top of the bars are just taping the top.) now on the NS7, its not touching the top of the bars on the NS7 display. on the Ns7 i usually look at the bar as a way to tell me how the volume is; the Ns7 has the red bars and when its reaching the peak the bar turns white on the top. in my head it shows me that the volume is loud but not too loud.
basically what im trying to say is that i feel like my ns7 card is playing lower than it should because i noticed that i have to turn the volume up a lot on my audio receiver that the speakers are connected to. i tried this however, i only focused on my ns7 display, i placed a song in deck A and turned up the gain knob until i saw the ns7 wave hit the white bar, but then i noticed on vdj the DB was at around +4.5db and it sounded terrible. do you think i should just ignore the ns7 display?
any help of suggestions would be greatly appreciated
