Topic: Controller enable feature

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am wondering if anyone has noticed that there's not a feature in VDJ to enable or disable a controller.VDJ detects any midi device connected to the computer automatically and enables it.If you happen to have several controllers connected to the computer VDJ will react to all of them not giving you an option to pick and choose which one you wanna assign to VDJ. For example I wanna use Traktor or Scratch Live as my main mixing program and VDJ my secondary video mixing program on the same computer as VDJ will allow me to take advantage of the "automix" feature to play videos in the background while I'm rocking the club. The reason behind this setup is the fact that I don't have all the videos for the playlist I wanna use for that specific gig.If I connect two controllers which are Vestax VCM-100 to control VDJ and HC1000S/Mixtrack Pro to control SSL/Traktor, it creates a total confusion. Only Serato and Torq give me that opportunity to enable or disable a midi device I don't wanna use for the software.
