Topic: Mixtrack Pro latency issues

Hi all.

I have a Mixtrack Pro and I like it but....I'm having latency problems. I don't know where to start so ask me whatever you need to know in order to help me get it up to speed.

Other than the latency issues...

I like it. Pretty good piece
 
Where are your Jog Sensitivity levels (in the option section of your config) at? I find most of us who use a console, need all 3 to be at least 75%- 85% to get a good latency.

Let me know how it comes out?
 
I switched the Mixtrack Pro to my Macbook, followed Coach K's advice and.....

It works as it should. It's not quite a NS7 but it will fill my requirements.

Karaoke and Dj'ing on the same machine, with the same program!!!
 
cool...im thinkin about the ns 6 to upgrade my vci-100 ....good lookin out! nice to know mixtrack pro is winning also...so numark really has improved?
 
Glad you like it City, I also like mine a lot. I have a question though, how do you engage the key lock? I have tried depressing the buttons on the controller, can't keep it lit. I'm using VDJ 7, any help would be great.
 
If you have "Safe Mode" engaged under the performance tab, uncheck it and then try again.

Make sure you have not chosen the Pure Scratch option in CONFIG -> Performances

With this setting, master tempo/key lock cannot be used.

If you wish to use keylock, advanced stretching is strongly recommended for best quality (Unless you have an older computer that cannot cope with this.)

Also having latency issues. Running Virtual DJ LE 7 on Macbook w/ Numark Mixtrack Pro controller. The problem is when I use my headphones in the cueing slot on the controller, the sound seems maybe half a second faster than the output to the speakers...any help? Tried looking into config but there are very few settings there...

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
