hi all,
i use 2x cdj 900 with a djm 700.
i use advanced config as usual.
suddenly a problem appears.
the sound level on deck 2 is very low, and yes the gain settings are the same on bith decks.
when i switch to automatic settings (external mixer, with asio combo) everything is ok.
when i switch back to advanced, the problem is there again.
even when i remove all hardware, save exit restart and rebuild the advanced hardware settings, the problem is back.
use 7.04.
any suggestions, cuase i have tried about everything except for reinstalling.
i did this to see if i can sort it out instead of reinstalling
thanks

Did you try swapping the physical connections?
In other words, swap the CDJ you're using as deck one with the 'deck two' CDJ and see if the problem moves with it.
That way, you know if it's the hardware (CDJs) or the software (VDJ).

hi swapped the set in 2 ways,
one: swapping decks in advanced config.
result: sound from deck one goes to channel 2 and vise versa. also the low sound is now on the other channel.
two: switching rca from deck 1 to 2.
result: same as above. sound problem remains.
so it is not the mixer, and is is not the deck.
also in recordbox, traktor or as a standalone this problem does not exist.
