Here is a video of me playing in the club. Doing 4 deck video mixing. I used Hercules MK4 controller, Korg Zero8 mixer, Apple Macbook Pro 2010 13", Windows7 64bit, Pioneer HDJ 2000 headphones.
If you have a video where you use VDJ, post it here!

I know it can, but why would you drop the cash for a macbook then just install Win7 when you could buy a dell etc.with the same specs for alot cheaper.

You can buy Dell with the same specs but macbook is much better computer. It looks nice, lightweight, can fit 1TB internal HDD, better components, better firewire chip, backlit keyboard, trackpad is bigger and more convenient than PC touchpad, AC adapter is small and not a huge brick, no grounding problems, can run Mac or Windows, better protection for components with aluminium body. The list can go on. That's why I use it.

It's BarFly in San Diego, CA (La Jolla area). I don't work there regularly but they have video DJ's often.

Nice setup. What song is playing on background?

Last time I fitted a hard drive to a macbook pro it was in 2008 when 320 was the biggest you could get, it was a nightmare.
It didn't feel good breaking the factory seals and the connections didn't seem to go back together as good although it never gave me any trouble.
Whats it like now to fit a hd? any easier

It's very easy now. You don't have to break any seals and there are instructions on "how to replace a hard drive" in user manual.
