Cyder in charge of cool thread ideas!

Aural and Charlie in charge of the first Atomix hardware controler

Rick in charge of fair play and jolly good egg department.

Tayla to convert from Kings to the more current Queens English and then work with Tearemup to translate for the US market.

Chuck in charge of wimp discovery.

Renee in charge if wimp punishment and the new Atomix fabulous shoe and PVC wear department.

Move the Atomix HQ to Mars as Serato can't get past the Moon at the moment HA! Stuff Branson get Gadget on the Mars lander design team.

Daz as "The Dark Safety Overlord". I would only request permission to convert the entire US power supply grid to work on 240V 50Hz and cut the plug off anyones equipment if I find them not using the ground pin!

Just a couple of simple ones for now, on the home page where it lists the forums give a direct link at the top of page to the Wiki section or at least give it a sticky (link) in the general forums, both/either with suitable information of it's contents. New users just have no idea that it is there.

Get back to when possible a user can only post a maximum of three times then someone else needs to post before they can continue in the thread, noticed since the change a few have kept a thread going and abused it deliberately to keep a thread alive, one notable exception has been Wallter down in the plugin forum, excellent posting to those that are interested in his thread.

If no one understood that please hit back space for translation...

@ Charlie...the Mixmeister controller is almost a perfect controller for VirtualDJ...i say almost because it doesnt feature sliders for the volumes, no true crossfader and no built in sound card.

as for running the company...

i'd change the licensing to a "rental" system...where you pay £9.99 (with netsearch) or £6.99 (no netsearch) a month, and have to connect to the net to re-authorise its use...think of how Netsearch works.

get Numark to build a dedicated controller based on the MMC...i have the outline, so give me a ring :-)

organise nights at clubs and stages at festivals (in the various countries) that allow Virtual DJ users the opportunity to show off their talent...probably in conjunction with someone such as mixcloud.

Renee, Steph just called, and said he would take care of Colonel Gaddafi, since he was closer, and asked if I could take his place as your sex slave. I told him no, because I was already in the air, and it was hard for me to get this ice pic on board. Plus, as a brother, that whole slave thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth, you know what I'm saying? He said he would give me another star, if I could take one for the team. Soooooooo..........can you pick me up at terminal B at 10:30?
 
One place for "All" known " Solutions" thread sorted by Topic is very much needed to ease the confusion, especially for new or potential customers...
 
well if automix was mine...... first thing i would do is BUY OUT SERATO and rework it so that is has the same exact SYNC BUTTON VDJ HAs and then let it go so nobody every argues the damn sync button option next i would continue to make the innovative ideas the prvious members have suggested. but really tho i would buy out the compettion
 
If it were up to me, I would have strickter guidlines on what should be focused on. You have many members asking for so many controllers to work native with it.
 

*.- change the name and logo (too plain and simple ,the software deserve better...that's my opinion)
*.- make a default skin.. a very professional skin...we have a very talent skinners to developed a unique skin
*.-better eq,colorized waves,better sampler
*.-work on make a exclusive controllers for the software
*.- a exclusive sound card...with the best sound possible
*.- target dj's to use the software...
*.-listen to the users on what they want to improve,add etc to make the software be on top,they"re the ones that make the difference

If I were in charge of Atomix Productions I would....
-Re do sampler for faster switch in and out of samples
-invest in contest to find top virtual djs to show how powerful the software and controller in shows across the U.S where we are mostly look down on for are mixing ways, it should be we are showing a dj can be more than a cd player
-FIX when downloading songs the song names STAY the same even through i move them around!!!!!! and not have playlist looking like 038493849485 next song 3483484 all due to i made the playlist as they where downloading :P
- let paying user record there music with out COPYRIGHT u can only play live and cant make mixs for your self "at some type of cost of course but im sure we be willing to pay"
-make new atomix team with the only set goal of booking shows at clubs with are tested network of djs found with in the virtual dj world

i can only sit and wait till you guys make this software #1 for live shows doing stuff that no other dj can do.

How about electrocuting them .... after changing the electric chair to 240v 50Hz :)

I second that and for the UK market. I feel the name holds the software back from being taken more seriously. It deserves better as its miles better than any of the competition but its name sucks
 
if i ran atomix i would say - we're leaving the bloody name alone, cause at least ours doesn't sound like something you would name a mini-van so that soccer moms wouldnt feel so soccer-mom-ish.

New for 2012 it's the new all-wheel drive Serato!

and dont even get me started on "itch".

How about a log in section on the homepage, you have to go to certain parts of the site to log in, I want to be able to log in first things first!

Also, I support color waveform, that'd be nice.
