Not possible. Only scratch wave can be vertical.

well, technically it is possible, it just looks like crap and isn't what you expect it to be.

my mistake, I was thinking of the songposition not the rhythm.

here is the code for the song position but it doesn't come out how you would want it (at least not how I wanted it)

<songpos deck="1" orientation="vertical" direction="down" waveform="yes" relative="no">
<size width="22" height="361"/>
<pos x="119" y="84"/>
<down x="+0" y="+0"/>
<volume x="1053" y="4047"/>
<selected x="+0" y="+0"/>
<volumeselected x="1147" y="4047"/>
<cues>
<size width="21" height="2"/>
<up x="358" y="4207"/>
<clipmask x="379" y="4207" width="21" height="2" />
<over x="1099" y="4047"/>
<down x="1147" y="4047"/>
</cues>
</songpos>

sorry DjDad, you were right. I was wrong.

It's possible ;-)

<scratchwave deck="1" orientation="horizontal" direction="right" length="2000">
</scratchwave>

Look at the VirtualDJ 7 (4 decks) skin. There is a button "WAVE" to change visual mode.

I think he's askin to have the rhythmwave be vertical though.

Your code would make a horizontal scratchwave which, yes, is possible but there is no way to make the Rhythmwave go vertical.
