ESPN has a basketball or sports CD. However, I would treat it like any other party. Who are you playing to? If most of the fans are African- American, I can't see playing a lot of Jonas Brothers, or Justin Bieber. On the other hand, Rick Ross would not go over well at St. Frances, Our Lady Of Virginity Catholic High School. What kind of League, pro, college or high school? Make the adjustment. I would try to keep the energy high.

If you're going to be playing hip-hop I would start looking for radio edits if there's going to be children there.

Go to a game in your own area if time permitting and see what the other guys are upto. Try and remember all the good and bad points and take notes if you can.
But you really shouldn't volunteer or apply for a job without first checking what is required.
