Hi all!
This is my first post on the forum but it's quite sad that because of a small problem.
I have an original VDJ 7 PRO and Numark Mixtrack Pro and I have encountered a problem with headphones output volume.
I was performing with my mixtrack. The music was loud. Approx. 100db and I was forced to maximize headphones volume gain, but still, the loudness of the sound was poor. I mean it was quite quiet. I wonderwing what caused this. Mixtrack? I think that's VDJ fault. What do you think? What's the solution for the problem?

If you have purchased a valid VirtualDJ license please goto http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and register your software.
In case headphones output is low, please make sure that the headphones volume knob of the software (skin) is at the max position. Alternatively you may use a headphones amplifier.
If you use VirtualDJ Pro Full version you may also use another external sound card instead of the Mixtrack Pro built-in one.

The knob is at the max position. So mixtrack is the problem? Is there any other option for me or there's only one solution by buying some external device?

if you are able to hook up to an amp and speaker or powered spkr run the output 2 into it and there you go, you have the volume from the mt pro and set the speaker volume seperate

check the impedanace of the headphones, also check how sensative they are , normally expressed in db, the hight the number the better, it basically means they are more efficent at converting the electrical energy into sound, can make a big differeance.
you could also try enclosed headphone, that will keep out the external noise, better for your ears as you want need the cans so loud !
i have even been known to use a set of noise cancelling headphones that activly filter out the room noise !

I have a mixtrack pro also. The headphone out of the mixtrack pro is not as loud as some other mixers. If you need it boosted, best bet is a headphone amp. Check your local music store to see if they have any. You should be able to get one for between 40-75 dollars. You can get it at sweetwater.com online too, but at least if you get it at a music store it would be easier to return if it doesn't work right for you.
