Topic: What Should I Get First?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am saving up for the 2000 series.. witch do you think would be best to get first? The CDJ2000 = $2000, DJM2000= $3000 CDJ2000 = $2000 Should i buy the DJM2000 so I can hook up my old CDJ 400's? or buy CDJ 2000's?

do you have a mixer to go with CDJ 400 already? if yes I would go for the CDJ2000 and get the DJM later
 
I would go the other way! LOL
I would buy the mixer first (as it is the heart of every dj system and a good mixer provides much more flexibility and creativity on your mixing than 2 good cd-players) and later on the players!
