Topic: Hercules RMX - Problem with drivers

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a Hercules RMX console and I’m trying to setup in a laptop with Windows Vista (original).

I downloaded last version of drivers (2010_HDJS_4) --> http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=17&fid=62&pid=215&cid=1

Setup drivers (as administrator), setup VDJ 5 DJC included in box…

In folder Windows/System32 deleted all files from older versions (hdj***.sys)

When connecting console via usb in laptop some blue buttons flashing and don’t turn off…

Opening Virtual DJ and this message appears: "The controller has not been detected. Please plug in the controller and start Virtual DJ again."

Am I doing anything wrong? I missed something?

Please help me…

it's just a link to the UK website. I'm having the same problem with the controller not being detected. I'm about to pull my hair out. I've changed the settings of my usb ports to not power off devices, I've uninstalled the software that came with the RMX and downloaded and installed the updates for the controller. I've even banged my head up against the wall for good luck. I'm not sure what else to do. I'm using a Hp Pavilion Dv7 that runs a 64 bit OS. I've always used serato before now with this same pc and never had any problems. Thanks to anyone who can help me, in advance.
