Topic: HELP ! CHOOSING NEW CONTROLLER

ok now ive been goin at this for like 2 weeks but i can not for the life of me decide which controller to get. both have their pros and cons.
before i list them my back ground : hercules rmx (which i fing love but little too limited for me now) and recently got the NS7 i love the ns7 but its just a bit too heavy to lug to my residency and want something a bit more portable. i lvoe vdj and love serato so with that said my choices
Vestax VCI-300 or Denon MC-6000
this is the hardest decision ive faced in a while lol asked this in the serato forums but of course everyone told me to go with the vci so anyone that has mc6000 or both input please thanks in advance guys

The VCI-300 was designed for complete integration with Serato, so even though it works with VDJ, the Serato fan boys are going to tell you that's the one. The Denon unit was designed with VDJ in mind and there were members of the community that had input into it's design.

The Vestax unit is a 2 deck controller while the Denon is a 4 deck. If you're going to hang with VDJ I don't think you'll be able to out perform the MC6000 in the current market. There are plenty of forum members that are very happy with the Denon units. Search the forums for pros and cons on both units.

thnks bro and lol thats exactly what happened at serato, ive done tons of research on both but the fact that the denon is also a analog mixer is also leaning my decision, (lookin to go back to 3700s soon so it would come in handy) thanks for the feed back though def gonna go hunting
 
Glad I could help! You make a valid point that I completely neglected to mention, the MC6000 is a MIDI/Analogue so you're getting more bang for your buck vs. the Vestax. It also has a pile of other nifty features not found on the VCI-300.
 
Hi people I recently went from a Denon dn-mc6000 to kontrol s4 but Im having trouble on how to map it to VDJ please anyone know how to do this? THANKS

It's allready mapped. Just plug and play, so go ahead and buy VDJ and you are ready to rock and roll.
