has anyone tried it mine arrives tomrrow. and i want to have it work w VDJ so i can make a song w it with ableton n then be able to also use it as an effects pad for VDJ as well

It is natively supported in VDJ. If you don't like the pre-mapped version that is in VDJ, you can map it yourself very easily.
I just picked up the Novation Dicer a few days ago, plugged it in, fired up VDJ and I was good to go live. The pre-map to the dicer didn't suit my needs, so I re-mapped it in less than a half hour very easily.

I haven't checked recently but I thought it wasn't natively mapped.
I made a definition and mapping for it- it's on the download mappers section, so have a look there if it doesn't work.
