Topic: speakers? vms4?

just curious if i should plug in my speakers directly to my laptop or to the vms4 controller? you input is appreciated!!

It depends on the speakers. If your speakers are just 2 left and right, yes, connect them directly. But if they are 5.1 or above then it would be better to route the VMS4 output to your PC's sound card line-in.
