Topic: RMX issue when using other asio soundcards

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

So I receive my Hercules RMX in the mail, bought this for my brother. Installing the latest drivers it works awesome right out of the box.
Problem is when I went to my wedding venue and connected my maya 44 so I could use my "REAL" setup the sound came out metallic sounding., rebooting and panicking I reverted back to the RMX. The good news is that it worked flawlessly.

My question is ....how do I fix this problem?

Normally, multiple devices should be able to coexist on the same system , but conflict between drivers can always occur.

Are you using the latest drivers for each soundcard ?

Have you tried installing them in different order ? That may sound weird, but I've seen cases some devices needed to be installed last in order to work properly...
