Topic: help on problem with firewire live camera feed

I hope someone can help I'm hooking up my sony 3 chip VX2000 to my laptop using firewire everything is been seen by both the computer & virtual dj it's just that every few seconds I get white lines going thru the screen. I really would like to use this camera because of the fact that picture quality is unbelievable. Does anyone have any idea????? Thanks
