I have a pro license already... I want the Hercules RMX to work properly with the proper midi presets and tweaks, whats the best way to do this with a laptop with VDJ 7 (r3) allready installed on it?

I have never used le before so I'm not entirely sure, but you should just need to find the mapper file, and the skin, they should both be in different folders named "mappers" and "skins' this is their directory on my pc
C:\Documents and Settings\founts.SYNTHET1C\My Documents\VirtualDJ\Mappers
C:\Documents and Settings\founts.SYNTHET1C\My Documents\VirtualDJ\Skins
you should be able to find the required files within vdj le in the same or similar place, just replace the pro files with the vdj le ones (making sure you backup a copy of the pro ones first of course}. That should work fine as that's what I had to do to go from 6 to 7.
You should also periodically back up you mappers (if you edit them) and database files just in case something goes wrong with the program.

just install the rmx drivers and you will be all set
