I'm sure this has been asked many many times before but... yea..
So, completely aside from my normal PA system setup, when i just wanna screw around and set some hot cues (or just show off the program :)) I can't get my headphones to work as a separate channel aside from my on board laptop speakers.
I have an HP Pavilion 6500 and what i want it to do (without the use of a Y-cable or another sound card) is. I would like it to play the main mix from the on board speakers and be able to plug my headphones into one of the two headphone ports and use it for cuing without it turning off the on board speakers. If there is anyway to do that, plz do advise
plox n thx :P

bought one for about 23. it is a turtle beach i think. Didn't care much (or have the time) to look at the specs but I use their gaming headphones so a USB card has to be good right? lol

totally off topic but...I know this a little unorthodox but like most of you, I lack the funds to upgrade to VDJ pro unfortunately. I was wondering If anyone knew of any third party software that can connect to the audio played in VDJ and output a nice audio visualizer. This is of course a temp solution until I can get VDJ pro and get the plug-ins.
plox n thx
