Topic: [NEW] [OTHER] WatchDog v1.0 Alpha - Page: 1

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

WatchDog is a simple plug-in that aims to create various automation macros in VDJ.

In Version 1.0 it only supports timed out auto-mix with a configurable time from 2 to 4 minutes.

More functions/automations will come soon.

PS: You will find the plug-in on the "others" effect tab

Can this be used for video effect triggers..activate/deactivate several at once..?

You mean to activate several video effects in a particular order?
It could be, but this can also be done with keyboard macros.
Or is it something else I'm missing here?

I'm looking for a way to play one clipbank slot after each other and then start again at the first slot.

Once started it play - Slot one and when finsihed, slot two and when finished slot three ..............
When the last slot has finished, it should start again at slot one.

Is this possible with your plugin and could someone convert it for Mac too?

Hi Haul70,

Scott has a ClipBank Randomizer plugin that he could easily add a sequential option, that would be useful...

Ok, you have "Ctrl V" that turns off all active video effects at once, now I would like to turn them all back on again, like the "Ctrl V" command in reverse, this feature world just reactivate what was already active before the turn off command was initiated....

Why couldn't you go like,
"video_fx_select "Titler" & video_fx on : video_fx_select "Titler" & video_fx_select "PandoraBox" & video_fx on : video_fx_select "PandoraBox" & video_fx off & video_fx_select "Backdrop" & video_fx on : video_fx_select "Backdrop" & video_fx_off & video_fx_select "Negative" & video_fx on : video_fx_select "Negative" & video_fx off & video_fx_select "Syz_ScrollingStrip" & video_fx on : video_fx_select "Syz_ScrollingStrip" & video_fx_off"

Although the only the sliders would only work for the last effect activated.

Just takin a shot in the dark so don't laugh at me, lmao!

I need to make a correction, it's not "Ctrl V" but "V" that disables video effects for keyboard shortcut..

Thanks,

Joey...

I might come up with something for this...
However the effects sequence must/will be pre-defined.

Not an issue, the only thing that may need some.. maybe subroutine is SBDJ ScrollText and TextD2 if you lose the text, or once setup you don't need to reload the saved text..?

Suspending not closing those two plugins...

Thanks,

Joey...

When I try to use Watchdog, keep getting missing msvcr100D.dll error. Try copying msvcr100D to windows\system32 folder still not working. OS Win7 64

If you just copied the .dll file on your system you need to REGISTER the .dll

However I would suggest you to instanll the VC++ 2010 Redistributable files

BTW: Since you're using Win64 the correct folder for system dll files is SysWOW64

I install VC++ 2010, but still get error

I updated the plug-in to version 1.0.1 Alpha

I fixed the msvcr100D.dll error. However you will still need the VC++ 2010 Redist from microsoft!
