i am just starting to get into this DJing gig...so please bear with me...
I found this device in my local music store. I am just trying to figure out if this device will allow me to have a stereo output while keeping the ability to PFL on my headphones?

Hi,
No, this will not do as it only has one pair of ins and outs. You need something with at least 2 pairs of outputs. This would not allow you to prelisten with headphones.
See this as one inexpensive example:

There are lot's of choices. I have both a M-Audio FAst Track Pro 4X4 and an M-Audio Firewire 410.
