Is there any way of getting rip vinyl to encode as a wav file?

It is easy,I have done it with a few of mine. Just get a sound recorder, I user nero sound recorder, plug your mixer into your pc as though you were going to record a set,then hit record, play your tune, leave a silence for 5secs then play another, and the same again. When you have finished your left with a big wav file, if you now cut it into the seperate songs and save them as mp3's ,job done. Just done a search on download.com and there are loads of progs on there that do it automatically for you,take a look.
