Hey

I am a newbie. I have the Virtual DJ LE version that I got with the Numark Mixtrack Pro. Great set up, easy to use. But I downloaded some skins from this website and some effects plugins. I installed them and it said that they were installed successfully. But I can't find them in the program. Where are they? Help?

Sorry, the software that you received with your MixTrack Pro is a free limited edition and does not allow custom skins, effects, etc. to be used or the program configuration options to be changed (Except during the 20 day trial of Pro.)

To be able to use custom skins, effects and much, much more you will need to upgrade to VirtualDJ Professional. Your VirtualDJ LE entitles you to a discount off the cost of upgrading. To receive this, please go to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

You can also try out Pro features in VirtualDJ v7 Home FREE by going to http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html - This software will allow you to test your MIDI controller with it for 10 minutes at a time before reverting back to internal mouse and keyboard control only.

Effects and other add-ons are only available to registered licensed users who have purchased the software.

VirtualDJ Broadcaster and Basic will allow effects, skins and samples to be downloaded and used, but these versions do not support MIDI Controllers (They are for keyboard and mouse only.) Mappers and tools cannot be downloaded.

The full VirtualDJ Professional allows downloading of all plugins and add-ons (Including mappers and tools) and allows MIDI controllers, full-screen video and much, much more.
