Topic: id3 or filename option ignored?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Loaded up my new laptop and copied the database and files over. Everything all good except a lot of my info is in the filename, not the id3tags. Even though I have unticked the read artist name id3 option, my files are still showing in the browser as the id3 name NOT the filename. Any suggestions?
