Topic: ZipDJ Download Speed - Slooooooooow

I just did my first batch download from ZipDJ and it took forever. I averaged 250 kb/s on a 20mb/s connection. Are their servers always this slow?

This has been going on for a little while with them. They are rebuilding the back end of the site and haven't gone about it the right way. Instead of taking the server offline for 24 hrs, they've spent the last month trying to maintain and make the site better while it's active. It's hit and miss with them and I'm getting a little ticked about it myself as it's gone on far too long and I pay premium money because I legally have too.

Also beware of the file tags before you put them in your database. I had 6 different files last week with the identical tag.

Ok, so the update was supposed to happen on Tuesday the 1st - went in to download some songs today and it is even slower ! Averaging 190kb/s. Is it intentionally being throttled to tick us off? 25minutes for each download session is crazy 8)~
 
My last session came in at 225kbps. I wasn't impressed either. info@zipdj.com is where I sent my complaint to.
