Hello,
On the PC version of VDJ, I'm able to link videos by dragging them into the video preview window from my desktop or finder. I can't seem to do this on the Mac, which is sort of a huge pain for linking tons of videos. Is this just not supported, or is this a bug?
Thanks,
Josh

Do you mean being able to link an audio file to a specific video so that the audio track plays with the video you have linked it to? I seem to remember being able to do that too on the PC version. I was gonna ask the same question to see if there is still a way to do that with the Mac release. Very helpful if the audio quality is poor or if u want to link an audio remix to the original video track.

Have you checked, Config - Video - Then the check box that enables to link video?
I don't seem to get this problem when that box is ticked.
Cheers!

I'm not sure that is the same thing I am talking about, but it might fix his issue. What I am talking about is there used to be a feature where u could take an audio track and link it to a video so anytime u loaded and played the video it would automatically play the audio track that you had linked to that video. It was a cool feature if u wanted a different audio track to play in sync with a music video. Say you had a bad audio recording on a video, or wanted a different mix of a song to play with the video it would play them together automatically everytime.

There is a feature like this, but it works the other way around. You can link a video to an audio file, and then the video will play each time you load that audio file. To do this, load the audio file on a deck, then drag an appropriate video to the deck's video preview screen on the default skin.
This is useful for those music videos with movie sequences in the middle - Simply use the audio version instead and link the video file to it.
NOTE: In some cases, you may need to edit the audio file for it to match the video - I.e: If the video has 30 seconds of movie intro sequence at the beginning, you'd need to add 30 seconds of silence to the audio file to compensate for this, so that both will be in sync with each other.

Hmm..this doesn't seem to work for me. Let me make sure I am doing this correctly. I load an audio file to the player and then drag a video file into the preview window for that deck located below the main output preview window? I am using the stock Virtual DJ 7 2 deck 1400x900 standard screen. Am I doing something wrong?

Using the default VirtualDJ skin, click on the VIDEO tab, so you can see the individual preview windows for each deck as well as the larger main output.
Load an audio file on a deck.
Then drag the appropriate video to its small preview window (NOT the large main output window.)
The file should now be linked and will show with a (L) icon to the left of it in the file list.
You can unlink it again by right-clicking on it in the file list and choosing this option.
