hi guys im looking for a really small but powerfull amp for use with my ulrta portable setup.
my netbook and herc mp3 e2 are the same length and about the same width approx 12" x 8"
so, im looking for an amp thats about the same size so i can nip down to swan and get a custom case made. help needed please.

How about! Stuff the amp and go for a pair of powered speakers.They must be available on the good old E of Bay. Keeps the weight down and reduces your rack size. Take a line level signal direct to the speakers and no fuss.

Vestax amp looks good but would need venting in the case.
Unless you already have speakers you want to keep using then I'd go for powered speakers. If one fails you can finish gig on just the other. If amp fails your stuffed.

Hej Babe, What about a Cambridge Amp... They are great and pretty underrated too.
Richer Sounds in Brighton have them for about £70. You could probably find them cheaper even than thatl.

PS but i did like the sound ov those Powered Speakers (if they're any good) as they will keep all your bits and the weight down to a minimum...
