Thought it would be a good idea to add a business page to facebook but I need 25 likes before I can get a name so I dont need a link like this...

You guys rock!! What a great thing to wake up to this morning. Thanks heaps!!

Deejayderek - this rig is not too bad to setup. The lighting rig is all prewired and lights are on hook clamps (mostly LED so not too heavy). I'm still getting used to plugging everything into the laptop as I used to run a desktop. The setup at Coneys on Saturday took 40 mins from start to finish but that was going harder than I usually would due to venue time restrictions. Generally need to allow around one hour for setup at most venues.

Dubcupboard - I do have twitter but I dont use it or promote it at all. I prefer to do things on the pc not the phone but I do have my twitter account linked so when I post other places it sends a tweet.

no I meant on the pc..not just to tweet on the go ;)

twitter farts all over f-book in my opinion, especially if looking for connections with potential clients !
f-book seems too hard to work unless you take out advertising, but twit is far quicker to build up a buzz on your gigs etc

seriously bud get networking with the right profiles (through their 'lists') and skys the limit
