i bought a american audio vsm4 last week and thge crossfader is not working, i need to know if there is a setting to go to get it work. please let me know what to do or who to call

I may be teaching you to suck eggs here but there are switches on the front of the VMS4 - there are 2 switches that need to be set - one needs to be set to for the left side slider chanel and one to the right side chanel for it to work.
I believe it does the work in the mixer electronics not in the VDJ software so I don't think it will make any difference regarding LE/Pro sofgtware, although the position of the crossfade is returned to VDJ it has to continue to send the full audio signal to the mixer in order the headphones PFL will work propperly.
