Ive been using the Numark M1 USB Mixer with VDJ since it the only program i can run it with so here is....
Problem 1:
Everytime I mess with the treble knob on the 1st Deck I hear static on my output speakers but sounds perfect on my headphones.
Problem 2:
Everytime I mess with the treble knob on the second deck it sounds perfect on my output speakers but I hear static on my headphones.
Is there anyone else who had this problem and fixed if so can anyone tell me how, oh and the M1 USB is connected to my laptop through USB but im planning on getting the Rane SL3 and i want to know if I do get the Rane SL3 if the M1 USB will be able to run on "Serrato" and if I will be able to use turntables with it since i know the M1 USB isn't a MIDI Controller and also have the M1 and want to know if that will work with Rane SL3 also on "Serrato" with turntables even though its not a MIDI Controller.[/quote]

If this only happens in VirtualDJ (I.e: Playing normal audio CD's or vinyl through the same channels does not cause the same problem), then your sound settings are not configured correctly or you have performance issues with your computer. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4094/Common_performance_issues_and_solutions.html
Make sure you have the latest version of the software installed. Register your serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html or purchase from http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
NOTE: A minimum of VirtualDJ Pro Basic is required to be able to use separate deck outputs to an external DJ mixer. The full VirtualDJ Professional is required to be able to also use timecode or MIDI controllers. Home FREE does not not support any of these features, except for 10 minutes as a trial of Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
If you also get this problem when using normal CD's and vinyl, then the knob(s) may be worn/dirty - Try cleaning with switch/contact cleaning/lubricating spray that you should be able to obtain from most DJ or electronic stores.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that you do this with the mixer switched off and disconnected from the mains.

You would be best asking those questions on Serato's own support forums. These forums are for VirtualDJ software.
If you install the latest Serato beta, the Rane SL3 sound card can now be used as a timecode sound card for VirtualDJ Professional, allowing you to use turntables to control VirtualDJ.

@Support_staff Well im using the one that lets you only use it for 10 minutes since it is expensive and i cant afford it thats why I got the Numark M1 cheapest mixer I can find and I have gotten the Rane SL1 because I got it on craigslist the only reason i got that instead of VDJ was because the guy sold it to me cheaper than VDJ was gonna cost and since im using VDJ Home i dont get enough time to mess around with the settings because you only get 10 minutes so when i change it if there not right i have to reset that again. I also tried using the Rane SL1 with it but only herd both of the songs on one deck and want to know if thats normal with home or thats something with the settings.

It means that you have your sound configured incorrectly.
The correct setup for Rane SL1 is:
Inputs: None (Or Timecodes if you will be testing timecode CD or vinyl control.)
Outputs: External mixer
Sound card: SL1 (Or ASIO -> SL1)
Click APPLY
Connect wires from the outputs of the SL1 to two channels of your mixer. Plug your headphones into the mixer and use the PFL/CUE buttons on the mixer to pre-listen, just as you would for traditional CD's or vinyl.
NOTE: If you are not using timecode vinyl or CD's, then you can use the sound cards in the Numark M1 as follows (Saves the additional clutter and wiring of the Rane SL1):
Inputs: None
Outputs: External Mixer
Sound card: 2 cards -> Choose each card of the M1 USB in the drop-down lists.
