Topic: Anyone using an S4 with vdj?

Anyone using an S4 with vdj? I couldnt see a mapper in the plugins. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

I was curious of this as well because the controller does look very well constructed. The fact that it comes with Kontrol S4 (a software tailored to the controller and vice versa) will likely keep it off the VDJ market for awhile still.

I've never been a fan of Traktor, but if I did enjoy the software, I wouldn't hesitate buying the S4 package.
 
Yeah the sample decks look like a great idea but Traktor doesnt do video so not really interested. I heard the S4 also sends midi though so I think it could be mapped. Was hoping someone has already done it ;)
 
i got some of vdj mapped to the S4. play, hot cues, sampler , effects, volume channel fader, crossfader, sync. bass mid and high w/killl. i have some platter control but nothing to brag about.....


i haveing problems mapping the loop controls and touchwheel touch, shift, broweser scroll.

i can basic mix with it so im headed in the right direction
 
Hmm, most controllers seem to have varying levels of issues to contend with. Might have to stick with the 12s for a bit longer.
