Topic: VCM-100 Mapping

Does someone has a custom mapping fot this controller ?

I know it is mapped by default.

But I'm not able to use the auto learn function to change the default mapping in vdj, any help appreciated.
 
I just got one of these today, and I'm also having trouble mapping it.

It's detected as a VCI-100, and some of the controls are off. EQ Hi maps as gain. EQ Mid maps as eg_high. Cue maps as PFL. Etc., etc.

So, I try changing the settings in the mapper, and most of the changes just refuse to stick. I can change one setting, but then the one I set before that reverts.

Help, please. Thanks.
 
I'm happy that I'm not the only one with this problem.

Some tech folks could check this please ?

I leveled it to not confuse you more. It's a link to a VCI but as you said you need VCM-100.

I saw the link is wrong.

No idea yet why I can't map it to my feelings ?
 
Does anyone have a work-around until this issue is fixed? Would I be able to use this controller with VDJ6 until there's a fix?
 
Ok, so I decided to try using this controller again, since there's been a new patch. The good news is now my changes stick, so I can set my controls correctly. The bad news is, besides still being detected as a VCI-100, the decks are swapped. The controls control the opposite deck in VDJ. If I could fix this, I think I'd be set.

Edit: I managed to fix it myself with some script I found here for switching decks. I assigned this script to a keyboard key, and hitting it fixes my swapped deck.

action_deck 2 ? deck 4 assign_controller 1 & deck 4 rightdeck : action_deck 4 ? deck 2 assign_controller 1 & deck 2 rightdeck : action_deck 1 ? deck 3 assign_controller 2 & deck 3 leftdeck : action_deck 3 ? deck 1 assign_controller 2 & deck 1 leftdeck

Thanks to whoever put this scripting together! I wasn't paying attention when I copied it.
 
Well, I spoke too soon. Today that script isn't working for me. Any scripting gurus willing to help?

Edit: Looks like this works, for the time being: deck 1 assign_controller "VCI-100" rightdeck & deck 2 assign_controller "VCI-100" leftdeck

Edit2: That isn't working. As soon as I touch the other deck on the controller, the controls become reversed again. What's going on?
