Topic: New to VDJ... Need help :)

Hello,
I am new to VDJ, and I need some help...
I have an iDJ3, and wanted to add some effects to my library. I have LE, and whenever I click download effects or samples on the site it tells me that it has been successfully downloaded, but it doesnt show up on my sample/ effects library.
Any help?

When you click on the download icon, on this site, you will have been asked, by your computer, where you wish to save the file to. Navigate to this location and you will find the downloaded file there.

Easiest way is to download another sample, so that you can see where your computer is suggesting where to save it too - on WIN7 it'll probably suggest "Documents --> Downloads".

i always download to my desktop. for some reason theres a lot of people tell me i shouldnt do that.
 
I did not know LE users had that privilege. However if you do, where did you download them to? They have to go in the sample folder or the effects folder. You must choose the correct folder; sound, video, transition. Then you must go to those folders and then run them so they are playable. Again, I am not sure LE users can download samples and effects.

I downloaded effects into the effect folder, etc.
For instance, I put Bass Teck into my sampler folder, but for some reason it will not load it onto the actual program :/
And yes, it allows me to download, and I got the LE with my iDJ3 if that helps.
 
OK, so you have to load it into the sample bank. Select sampler. Right click the little circle in the upper right hand corner. Select load. It will open a window, and you must navigate to that sample that you downloaded, and select it. It will now load into that tray.

When I right click, it tells me: Loop, Match pitch, beat lock, etc. but no load... Maybe its the version I have, or I need a different skin? I am using the one that came with the software.
 
OOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKK, we have a problem. What version are you using? Is there something in that slot now? What happens if you hit the play button? Have you tried a different slot? You do not have to retype or copy my response.
 
lol, sorry I thought hitting the quote button would notify you or something.... Anyways,
I am using VDJ 6.1.2
I have tried to load in a slot that was used, as well as one that was'nt
And when I hit the play button for the samples that the program came with, they work and the empty ones don't play anything.
 
When you right click the button on the slot with a sample in it, it does not offer you a load prompt?
