Scott is working on it. That is all we will know until it is done and released. I wouldn't expect any updates on progress. It is my understanding the SBDJ is a working professional DJ and does programming when he has the time. I could be wrong but I am guessing that he probably doesn't want to spend all of his free time sitting in front of a computer either. Can't say that I blame him.
I understand that their are many DJ's wanting this app asap. The quickest way for the app to get released is to lose patience and go out and spend a lot of money on an ipad or iphone. As soon as you get it set up and working, the Droid app will be released. lol.

Is there any news on this? Recently got an Evo HTC - and would love to turn the thing into a remote for VDJ. I was reading about using a Wii Controller for this, but for some reason the computer doesn't find the Wii Remote, so I am screwed there.

You can always use one of the other available apps for now - Fingerplay and TouchOSC are the best IMHO.
