Topic: "Now Playing" in MSN or Adium

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I see that there is an option to allow people to see what song is currently playing as a status message in MSN. Is this supported for Mac or is this something that was just inadvertently brought over from the PC version? I haven't tried it on my PC yet but I'm guessing it works there. I have tried both Mac messenger and Adium (with the show song playing in itunes option checked in those programs) without any luck.
