Only small amount of plugins are available to LE users I beleive, check plugin for compatibility before downloading.

DJ Console Edition v3 that comes with the MK2 console does support sound effects and skins, but only those that have been designed for VirtualDJ v3 or earlier.

Any plugins designed for newer versions such as v4, v5, v6 and v7 will not be compatible.

To use newer effects, skins and much, much more you will need to upgrade to the latest VirtualDJ Professional at a discount: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

On the download pages (E.g: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/effects.html ) you will see which version each plugin has been designed for, e.g: Created for VirtualDJ version 7.x

For your version, only plugins created for version 3.x or 2.x will work.

It is already natively supported in VirtualDJ v7.0.2, so there is no need to install a mapper unless you wish to change or customise the default mapping.

NOTE: You can customise the default mapping to suit your own preferences via CONFIG -> Mappers - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4149/VDJscript_Mapping.html for basic instructions.

You can download the latest VirtualDJ Pro from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

If you wish to install a custom mapper, copy its mapping file to My Documents\VirtualDJ\Mappers (Or /users/YOURNAME/Documents/VirtualDJ/Mappers if you have a Mac)

If there is also a definition file too, this needs to go in My Documents\VirtualDJ\Devices
