Topic: Need Some Help with the Config on VDJ

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello everyone I would greatly appreciate your help with this problem of mine. I recently purchased a Numark Mixtrack Pro, and downloaded the Virtual DJ LE for it, but when i go to run the VDJ, it asks me for a ATPR Keychain password? What the HELL is this? I'm also guessing this is why I cannot use my Config button properly and the every time I click config the ONLY thing i can click on is "upgrade to VDJ Pro" OR something about a "20-Day Trial of Pro". I clicked the 20-day trial button and it still isnt letting me use the config button...(i'm ultimately wanting to change skins).

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Keychain is a feature of MacOS that is used to securely remember passwords for websites, or your own password that MacOS will normally prompt you for when installing software such as VirtualDJ.

You will need to enter the password that you set when enabling this utility, or change it via the Keychain Access application.

You can remove it by removing /users/YOURNAME/Library/Keychains/login.keychain

The software that you received with your MixTrack Pro is a free limited edition and does not allow custom skins, effects, etc. to be used or the program configuration options to be changed (Except during the 20 day trial of Pro.)

To be able to use custom skins, effects and much, much more you will need to upgrade to VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

If the 20 day trial does not work then you have probably already previously used a trial version of the software before. You can try out Pro features in VirtualDJ v7 Home FREE by going to http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html - This software will allow you to test your MIDI controller with it for 10 minutes at a time before reverting back to internal mouse and keyboard control only.

Your VirtualDJ LE entitles you to a discount off the cost of upgrading. To receive this, please go to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
