Topic: Which version do I need to buy?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I just have a quick question regarding which version of Virtual DJ I should buy. I have a Numark Mixtrack connected through usb and I was looking at what the different versions offered.
Does my controller fall into the category of "MIDI/HID Controller/Mixer Support?" If it does I will have to buy the $300 Pro version.
Or could I just buy the Broadcaster version since I don't need Full screen video output, microphone, external mixer, or timecode vinyl control.

Hi there, as you are using controllers, you need to buy the full pro version. The broadcast and basic is based on keyboard and mouse. For djc edition, it always come with certain controller as a bundle and as a gift from atomix for them to straight away using the controller out from the box.

Even if you do not need all the features in the pro version, the product itself is worth it and maybe in the future you may use it's full capabilities;)

If your MixTrack came with VirtualDJ LE (Limited Edition), then you should be able to upgrade to the full Pro at a discount by going to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html and entering your VirtualDJ LE serial number in the box provided.
